| Ogof Fechan is a long linear stream cave with some extensive low wet passages that flood completely in wet weather. The low streamway leads to the first sump that can be bypassed by passing through a short duck to reach a slippy climb up. Ogof Fawr is a located at the site of a large shakehole where the sizeable Sychbant stream sinks at the foot of a rock face. The sink was dug to reveal over a kilometre of cave finally ending in chokes. Following initial exploration of the cave a second entrance at the back of the shakehole was dug to gain a dry access to this large but flood prone cave. ..more information |
