Dan Yr Ogof Hydrology MapDan Yr Ogof is the main resurgence for a vast area of the Black Mountain. This interactive map shows the Dan Yr Ogof survey in relation to the terrain, and also the primary water sinks on the mountain. All the sinking water resurges into the river Llynfell through the cave. This map shows the primary sinks and also shows the link from source to where first seen in the cave as a blue line. The dye tests that have been carried out are referenced in the information windows that pop up when the markers are clicked on and show the time it took from the tracer being introduced into the sink to it appearing in the cave. Ogof Ffynnon Ddu Hydrology MapOgof Ffynnon Ddu (cave of the black spring) is the resurgence for the water that sinks at the Pwll Byfre plus number of minor sinks where the water is captured by the cave. The hydrology map shows the primary water sinks on the mountain. All the sinking water resurges into the river Tawe through the cave.
